The 10 year anniversary of DragHensDen was an unforgettable evening of glitz, glamour, and fierce competition. The event was filled with some of the most talented drag performers from all over Ireland and beyond, and we were thrilled to have the return of reigning 2022 winner Lucina Schynning who joined us as a judge, as well as reigning Ms Social Media winner Charnell Clearwater, Limerick queen Elsie Cox, and all the way from London Sheila Blige.
The evening was hosted by our long-standing and beloved host, Sheila Fitzpatrick, who kept the energy high throughout the night. PigtownMedia captured beautiful photos of the event, and Miss Bliss wowed the audience with her stunning performance.
Behind the scenes, the backstage crew, including Paddy Doyle, Evan Kennedy, Mandii, Yvonne Foote, and Tom Walsh, worked tirelessly to ensure that the event ran smoothly and without a hitch.
Of course, the real stars of the evening were the drag contestants, who brought their A-game and left it all on the stage. Jeanie Mac, Toxic, Goblins Goblins Goblins, Éiresure, Nora Sinner, Billie Mystique, Boo Boo Oopsie, Celtic Tigress, and Jackie Off all put on unforgettable performances, showcasing their unique styles and talents.
In the end, it was Tewtee who was crowned the winner of Ms DragHensDen 2023, with Ms Social Media Kara Kalua taking home the title of Ms Social Media. The competition was fierce, and all of the contestants should be incredibly proud of their performances.
Overall, the 10 year anniversary of DragHensDen was a tremendous success, and we owe a huge thank you to everyone who made it possible. From the performers to the judges to the crew and everyone in between, it was truly a night to remember. We can't wait to see what next year's event will bring.
